About Jaya Ekadashi:
Magha Masa-Shukla Paksha-Ekadashi is called by the name ‘Jaya’.Garuda Purana says one who observes Haridhina will remove all the sins and wards off hell.In Padma Purana Lord Sri Krishna says Jaya Ekadashi is pure and destroys Sins(Pavithra Papahantri).Lord says He who observes Jaya Ekadashi sincerely(without even drinking Water) no need to perform any other sacrifice and his sins will be washed away completely. Our great Sri Purandara Dasaru says one who do not observe Ekadashi will fall in to Hell for several years. He also says each and every rice has crores of viruses and its equal to dog’s meat.Hence, we are not advised to even drink a drop of Water(1 drop of Nirmalya is allowed).
Jaya Ekadashi for this year falls on 3/2/2012.

Vaadiraajamunipa hayamukha paadakamala madhupa nI dayadali tavapaadadhyaanavanu aadaradali koTTaadarisennanu||

You can listen the entire Song from here  and  full Lyrics is available here
Meaning- Sri Gopala Dasaru has written a beautiful song on Vadiraja Tirtha wherein he starts the song by describing Rajaru as a bee which hovers around the lotus feet of Sri Hari.He also implores the saint to bless him to always have the meditation on his holy feet which is possible only by his benign grace.

Sri Vadirajaru used to offer Hayagrivamandi delicious sweet made from Dhal, cocunut and Jaggery to Turagavadhana(Lord Hayagiva).Lord used to come daily in form of horse and keep both his hoofs on the shoulder of Sri Rajaru and accept the nevidheya offered to him.

Gopala dasaru ends the song by hailing Sri Vadiraru as the beloved devotee of Sri Gopala vitthala, who showers his blessings and also fulfills the desires to the devotees, who seek his refuge.
