With the divine blessings of Lord Sri Hayavadhana, I would like to present Part 5 of this series on great Sri Vadirajaru, to the truth seekers. From now onwards, our series will have the post Sanyashrama life of Rajaru.On the eve of Rama navami 2012 I would like to post this article relating with Lord Sri Rama.In upcoming Series,we are going to see HIS miracles,HIS golden works,HIS devaranamas and much more.
Name as Sri Vadiraja Tirtha:
Sri Vagisha Tirtha gave sanyashrama to Sri Boo Varaha and named him as “Sri Vadiraja Tirtha” meaning King in vadha(debate).After getting sanyashrama from Sri Vagisha Tirtha,Sri Vadiraja Tirtha continued his studies under great saint of Madhva philosophy “Sri Vyasaraja Tirtha Sripadangalavaru”.Just to highlight here, Sri Vijayindra Tirtha(Vishnu Tirtha),Sri Vadiraja Tirtha,Sri Purandaradasa,Sri Kanaka dasa and much more were students of great Vyasa Tirtha.
Great saint Sri Vadiraja Tirtha shined in Thapa Shakthi,Mantra Shakthi&Tatva Gyana.King Krishna devaraya after seeing the brilliance of Vadiraja Tirtha called him by the name “Prasanga Parana Tirtha”.His holiness was also called by the names Shatdharsana Shanmukhan,Sarvagya Kalpan,Kavikula thilaka by the Kings of South India.
Auspicious qualities of Lord Sri Rama from Dasavatara Stuthi:
Sri Vadiraja Tirtha has written nearly 105 golden works,among them “Dasavatara Stuthi” is really like a ratna,which extolls the Ten avatars of Lord and strongly proves Hari Sarvothama tatva.As Rama navami is celebrated on 1-4-2012 throughout our bharatha, I would like to explain the 21st sloka which his holiness has composed on Lord Sri Rama,which is given below:
Lord Sri Rama-HIS auspicious qualities cant be fully measured who is respected by Sri Lakshmi,Brahma,Rudra etc,who is rightly called by the name “Sarvagna”-the knower of all,who does creation/protection & destruction.Let this great Rama protect us always.
Sri Vadiraja Tirtha at Tirumala on Sri Rama Navami day
Sri Vadiraja Tirtha, the all knowing great saint started his sojourn for doing prathistapana of Dvaita philosophy across India. During His sojourn to various Divya Kshetras, Sri Vadiraja Swami happened to come to Tirupathi on a RAAMA NAVAMI DAY. At that time he presented a garland of Shalagramas which he had just got from Nepal to the Lord of the Seven Hills. This still adorns the Lord.
The ever compassionate Lord was extremely pleased with His dear devotee and gave darshan as Sri Raama to Saint.The saint was overwhelmed and sang a song whose Anupallavi runs as under:
“Raama dasharatha Nandana Raghu Kulaabdi Soma Sundara Vadanaa….”
